New in 2023

The 2023 model year brings new variations of the truck. The Ford F-150 Raptor R, for example, takes power even further by offering a 700-horsepower 5.2-litre V8 engine with impressive capabilities. For those who are more off-road oriented, a Rattler variant will offer additional protection equipment, less extreme than the Tremor but almost as capable on the trails. The more nostalgic will opt for the Heritage version, which comes in a range of two-tone paints reminiscent of the model's 75th anniversary. A Powerboost hybrid version was launched last year.

A choice for everyone

With the 2023 Ford F-150, it is possible to literally assemble your vehicle to suit your needs. Bodies range from the single cab to the SuperCrew, for even more room for the occupants. A choice of boxes, ranging from 5.5 to 8 feet, is also on the menu. Finally, it is possible to opt for one of the powertrains, from the 290 horsepower 3.3 litres 6 cylinders to the 400 horsepower 5.0 litre V8. There's also a 325-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 2.7-litre V6 and a 400-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6. All are married to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Driving and safety

To keep its occupants safe, the 2023 Ford F-150 relies on the onboard driver assistance systems familiar to Ford enthusiasts. However, it adds more advanced features, such as the optional Blue Cruise, which allows the vehicle to drive itself on predetermined roads without driver assistance, or the CoPilot360, also available. There's also towing assistance, including an onboard scale and smart hitch, as well as optional parking assistance.

Comfort and technology

The interior of the Ford F-150 is a real workplace. With a large, touch-sensitive screen housing the Sync4 system, it provides full access to driving, entertainment and comfort information. The retractable transmission lever turns the center console into a work table, while the driver's seat that lies flat allows for a comfortable break. A ProPower Onboard generator adds the ability to plug in equipment, even when the vehicle is stationary.
