Ford Transit - Equipped for work

With plenty of cargo space, powerful engines and versatile seating, the Ford Transit is ready to work at any time. Equipped with a wide range of features and functionality, this van makes work easier and more convenient. Equipment or passengers on board, the Ford Transit can carry it all with 127 cubic feet of cargo space or 105 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded. It is offered in several powerful engines in addition to an economical and electric version.

Powerful engine

The Ford Transit offers an impressive 6-cylinder engine choice. It can tow up to 2000 pounds and has a 117L extended-range fuel tank. These optional 3.5L V6 or 3.5L EcoBoost V6 powertrains are fuel efficient and powerful, replacing the old turbo engine. To maximize traction and improve handling, the optional Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system is also available.

The E-Transit

The Ford E-Transit van is a zero-emission vehicle supported by the Ford Pro Network. It is available in three lengths, three roof heights (low, medium, high) and three models: utility van, chassis cab and cutaway van. The battery is placed under the body of the vehicle. In addition to the advantages of a rear-wheel drive electric powertrain, there is no compromise on utility space. It offers a range of 200 km with an engine that develops 266 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque.

Payload and towing capacity

Both the Ford Gas Transit and the E-Transit offer excellent cargo and towing capacity. The towing package includes tow mode, a relay system for the backup lights, running lights and a frame-mounted hitch receiver. The payload for the electric van is 3880 pounds and up to 4513 pounds for the cutaway model. Versions with 4 or 6-cylinder engines range from 3,060 to 5,110 pounds.

Technology and safety

Thanks to digital mirrors, this high-definition screen displays a panoramic view behind the van, allowing you to see what's going on around the vehicle even when the rear doors without windows or partitions are in the way. A full 360-degree view is also available for easy navigation on narrow roads or in tight spaces like parking lots.
