2023 Ford Ranger

The 2023 Ford Ranger pickup truck gives the durability, toughness and confidence of a safe vehicle on any road but also has an impressive towing capacity. With its Ecoboost engine available on all three models in the lineup, XL, XLT or LARIAT, the Ranger is always ready for an adventure with its two body styles: the 4-door double cab or an extended cab with two rear half doors. It's been tested in extreme conditions for decades and is equipped to drive anywhere with a variety of driving modes (turf, gravel, snow, mud, ruts or sand) for optimum performance.

A powerful truck

All 2023 Ranger models are powered by a 270-horsepower 2.3-liter Ecoboost turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but four-wheel drive is also available. With a double-wishbone front suspension with pressurized shocks and the ability to tow up to 7,500 pounds, Ford's pickup truck allows you to haul more with a 1,905-pound payload and stay comfortable and in control.

Bold and connected design

Inspired by the larger F-150, the Ranger's interior is modern and practical. It features a digital gauge display, and textured dashboard trim, and the truck's controls and buttons have been digitized to become part of the 8-inch infotainment system screen, not to mention storage solutions like an upper glovebox hidden in the dash, larger door compartments and storage located under the truck's rear seat.

Ford Packages

Ford offers the optional Tremor Off-Road Package with Ford Trail Control and Terrain management system. They include exposed steel skid plates for added chassis protection, FOX shocks, tow hooks, six control block switches and a modified heavy-duty suspension for added ground clearance to get ahead when the trail gets rough. The FX4 package offers skid plates, tuned off-road suspension and an electronic locking rear differential. Aesthetically, Ranger also offers optional design packages: Black Décor, Sport Décor and Chrome Décor.

Safety is a priority

Driver and passenger will always be safe with standard driver assistance features: rearview camera, forward collision warning, automatic forward emergency braking and pedestrian detection. Also available are adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, automatic high beams and front and rear parking sensors.
